I am in pro per – How can I request a Demand for Production of Documents (loan application on new home). ?
I settled with my daughters father, and two months later I got laid off, he stopped exercising the 20% visitation he had immediately after agreement of child support was signed, and he purchased a new home. He was claiming not to make any income when we settled (3 months ago)- so I need to request the loan documents. I can not afford a lawyer this time around, so I am in Pro Per. I filed the OFC, expense declaration, and now I need to figure out how to draft this document, and do I have to have it certified prior to delivering, and how do I have it delivered- can I do it? also, as I am in pro per- where and when do I meet to gather the docs I am requesting?????? PLEASE HELP!!!!
You need more help than you can get here. Also, procedures vary depending on the court/state you are in. Even attorneys refer to practice guides. Go to a local law library and ask the librarian to direct you to an appropriate resource.
